Brock Williamson joined Bank of the Orient in 2000 and serves as the Chief Credit Officer, supervising the credit underwriting, portfolio management and Credit Policy functions. Brock has been in the banking and financial services industry for over 25 years. He began his banking career in San Jose with Wells Fargo Bank in retail branch banking involved in consumer, real estate and commercial credit. Brock was later promoted to Vice President in the Commercial Banking Group in Palo Alto, where he managed commercial loans middle market businesses as well as high net worth individuals. Brock later joined the Business Loan Group headquartered in San Jose where he was involved with development of Wells Fargo's first business credit scorecard. He was also engaged in the Credit Review and Portfolio Management functions. After 17 years, Brock left Wells Fargo to join Citibank in San Francisco. At Citibank, Brock was a Vice President & Team Leader in the CitiBusiness Group. Here, Brock managed a team of credit underwriters and oversaw the growth of the commercial loan portfolio in the California and Nevada marketplaces. Brock was a member of Citibank's National Task Force that created CitiBusiness's National Credit Policy. Additionally, he was a "subject matter expert" in the creation and development of a knowledge-based commercial credit-underwriting platform. Brock grew up in San Jose and in 1993 moved to San Francisco. Brock is a graduate of Arizona State University and the University of Santa Clara where he obtained his M.B.A. |
