In 1971, Bank of the Orient opened its headquarters to the public in the heart of San Francisco’s financial district to serve the personal and business needs of the Asian-American community. The early days helped set the precedent for Bank of the Orient’s tradition of highly personalized service and commitment to its customers. Today, the bank has grown to more than $650 million, with branches located in the San Francisco Bay Area, Honolulu, and People’s Republic of China.
